Distilled in copper pot stills from a mash bill of 100 percent rye and barreled in May 1999, Lock Stock & Barrel's 21-Year Straight Rye is a satisfying, robust whiskey. The award-winning spirit comes from Canada and was matured in cold weather inside new charred American oak barrels. The resulting liquid offers notes of cake, toffee, and orange on the nose, a full-bodied flavor with hints of caramel, coconut, and cocoa, and a long, smoky finish of leather, oak, and rye spice.
