Designed in 1952 and produced using new (at the time) moldable plastic technology, the Ray-Ban Wayfarer was an instant success and has retained its allure over the decades. The Original Wayfarer Classic is nearly identical to the original B&L5022 model, with an acetate build in black or tortoise, green G15 lenses, and the model's signature forward lean.
