When it comes to legendary Irish Whiskey, the "Spot" line has stood out for more than a century. The head of the family is Red Spot, crafted from a recipe handed down by the Mitchell & Son family. This re-imagined Red Spot stays true to its history, and the triple-distilled, single-pot still whiskey spends a minimum of 15 years aging in a combination of American Bourbon casks, Spanish sherry butts, and Sicilian Marsala wine casks. The fruit of all that labor is a complex, bright dram with tasting notes that include ripe fruit from the Marsala casks, sweet red pepper and cracked black pepper, with a touch of oak at the finish.
